MORE ABOUT CARLY

Carly is heavily involved in her community. She is an advocate for equal rights, and has been a volunteer on and off to raise money for those suffering from the HIV/AIDS virus. Carly is a volunteer at Under One Roof, a non-profit store in the Castro benefitting the AIDS community. She has produced two concerts for their benefit. Carly sings with Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church as a cantor and recently made her debut with the choir of the Metropolitan Community Church of San Francisco.
 Carly made her Plush Room debut in 2007 in a Cabaret to benefit Habitat For Humanity. She has participated in fundraisers for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and in activities for the San Francisco Imperial Court. Carly sang for 2008′s Light Up The Night vigil to protest against Proposition 8. She can be heard singing “Silent Night” on a YouTube presentation of the evening.
 
What you may not know is that Carly had the amazing opportunity to be the head judge of Gay Pride 2007, proudly spearheading an amazing committee of judges. Carly is an Equity Membership Candidate (EMC), and is a proud member of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) .
Carly is a frequent traveler, having just spent a month in Italy studying voice, visiting Switzerland, England and Amsterdam. Carly is an avid blogger and you can read about her travels at Live Journal.
